There is absolutely no way I am costing you readers.

People do not click on my blog, go there and not come back.
People do read my article, comment on it on SI, and they know they can find a link to my blog without on your site without reading my blog directly looking for new posts. Instead they read my board on SI.

I do not have time or the energy or the inclination to format my blogs in entirety on SI. But I do stay and moderate a board, answer questions and maintain a group. That brings you traffic.

I bring readers to your site and I ask nothing more than to post links to my blog. Those readers bring you clicks and help promote SI.

It is a mutually beneficial relationship. You are asking for 100% of the pie.

It is not fair and I will stop posting if I cannot continue as I am.

If I leave will that raise your traffic?
There is a 0% chance of it.
If there is a zero% chance of it then I am not costing you anything.

Indeed, I am giving you some traffic you might otherwise not get. It takes time and energy to moderate a board. You are asking for 100% of the benefit of that.

There is no other way of looking at this.

If I cannot post links to my blog for discussion, then I am gone after a final farewell message.
