Bob Olstein, who runs the Olstein Financial Alert fund, went into the correction with 30 percent of his assets in cash. He immediately put that big cash position to work, investing $20 million in Tandy, Seagate, and three big airlines: Delta, Continental and American. Even with such a big cash position, Olstein's fund is up 33 percent for the year.
