If that reporter, or even the station, had done a simple Google check on the names, they would've found that the 1st husband was dead and the recent one was alive and had a restraining order - and all the details that go with it - on the first page. Had she asked the police the right questions, they would have been able to give her those details too.

But wait a sec....maybe they did and chose to not report the whole story.

Don't know what's worse - incompetence, ignorance or deliberate mis-reporting and manipulation.
