So, SI time is an addiction rather than a business.

Yes, I like many of the people here. At times I get disgusted with the bickering but if overall I did not enjoy this I would not do it.

That said, if I cannot at least post a link to my point of view there is not that much for me to discuss.

My real business is not my blog but Sitka Pacific and I purposely do not promote it here. Indeed I do not even promote it on my blog more than once a quarter or so.

Note that I very rarely mention Sitka Pacific at all, and usually only if challenged on something like earlier tonight.

SI-Bob does not seem to appreciate the job that board moderators do. I sense Slider feels the same way.

If anything, SI probably ought to give something to moderators of popular boards, instead I just got grief.

That is how ass backwards the email from SI-Bob was. Moreover I do have, and have had for years a link to SI on my blog. It is on the left side under "links".

I do not promote it heavily but then again SI does not promote my blog at all. A couple years back I sent emails to SI seeking a relationship, but those emails were never answered.

Now, it is too late. My hands are full and bulletin boards like this are not very exciting for most. I am no longer interested in a promotional trade with SI. Besides, most here are individual traders not interested at all in managed accounts. I keep my blog separate from Sitka, on purpose for those reasons.

Calculated Risk left, Fleck left, Heinz left. I am still here. And for that I got complaints.

By the way. In case anyone is interested in a scorecard, Calculated Risk is #1.

Would SI benefit if CR posted links to his blog here? Of course!

Would SI-Bob appreciate it? Apparently not. At least not before reading this.
