In the past, some posters were treated above and beyond the TOU if they were popular enough; the record is pretty clear on that. But now other posters with documented popularity aren't getting that treatment, and they are chafing.

Since SI has never even tried to define or take advantage of the popularity of its top posters and threads, everyone is left to wonder what's really going on.
