P.S. CYMER enters into currency contracts in order to reduce the impact of currency fluctuations related to purchases of the Company's inventories in Japan. In MY PERSONAL OPINION. NO FOREIGN FAB is going to just sit back and watch the new technology move into other fabs around the world. I would image that just about every fab would want to test this *new* system. The initial orders would be relatively small compared to full scale production orders and therefore cause no financial burden because of currency costs. If CYMER was in the position of supplying lasers to a saturated market that was in the process of converting, I'd be more concerned.

CYMER has the tickle-me-elmo doll and parents (U.S. / Asia / Europe) really don't care about the price for a few dolls. If they wanted to order 10's or 100's, they might take longer to decide.

Also, don't just focus on Asia... look at Europe!!!
