I hope you found some "refuge" threads where you feel more comfortable. I skim the permabear threads for two reasons. First, if they ever turn bullish, I will get worried and consider taking some profits. Second, I check to see if they have any new information that isn't well-known and already priced into the markets by the real money players. So far, the answer to those has always been no and no. Just a lot of verbiage and venting and tossing around bad economic headlines with universally dismal predictions about the future. That's not how business cycles work, but that's the game they want to play. So be it. Doesn't change how I invest my capital.
