Seems to me but I'm no accountant, lawyer or otherwise but if VRS (those negotiating) new what the future held in the final deal and continued to allow trade on the TSX knowing that all who bought stock when the deal closed would be left with 0, then surely there must be some violation of trust, fraud or ?? that holds those accountable for knowingly IMO defrauding investors of thousands of dollars. If not then why would any investor trust a company when its so easy to just simply go private and leave all investors holding an empty bag while the company walks. We need to fight to the end on this one if for nothing more than principal.
