Thanks to kidl for the board. I have also filed a complaint with the OSC and e-mailed a few newspapers. An interesting link on shareholder's rights in Canada is www.cfainstitute.org/centre/topics/pdf/canada_sort.pdf I have also e-mailed a couple of shareholder's rights organization: the CCGG (Canadian Coalition for Good Governance) and the MEDAC (a Quebec org). The recent Nortel court case, with a partial victory for shareholder's, provides interesting reading material. I am glad that we are making a lot of noise but I am worried that it will not be enough. For the media and the politicians, the fact that the local jobs will be saved makes this a lot less "interesting" and might not get enough attention. I believe that shareholder's will need legal representation to get AV/Versa attention. I would like to see an independant opinion from an attorney on the best course of action that we should follow. I am based in Quebec with limited contacts in Ontario. Does anybody know an attorney that could help us? This could be a pretty high profile case in the Ottawa area. Again, I am very impressed with what has been accomplished in just a few days.
