OT. Well this "benign" belief in food can and will kill you.

Or save you.

Food and its efficacy cannot be just a fad concept. It keeps you alive by more than just a fuel energy equation. Essential vitamins are essential because you MUST intake them. Or die. Obviously quantities of substances must therefore be important.

The step to believing you can obtain a benefit by tailoring your intake of substances, is not a large one. 100 years of medical research has given us an important biochemical smoking gun. Diet = Health. Bad diet = Death.

Do this. For the next three months get all your meals from a dumpster. Go ahead, dive in and take scraps at random. Report back and tell us how you feel at the end of that time. Does the quality and type of food seem to make a difference? Are you healthier? Remember to take a cholesterol panel, blood pressure, EKG etc, before and after.

Good luck.
