Scare tactic.Looks like they are utilizing an old army tactic First cutoff communications - ie stockhouse
Secondly pick off each individual - threats,etc

Dont know if this helps in the future, but a friend once told a little story. You cant call a cop a dick head to his face, but you can say I think your a dick head. No law against thinking is there.
