Isn't that interesting.

A measure of intimidation intended for Arnold. Those are all the people whose jobs are on the line. They had a bunch of them downtown at the council meeting today because they won't agree to any cuts the city wants to make.

I keep going back to when Grey Davis added 43,000 state workers during his short tenure - in the hopes that they would protect his job. I remember griping about it when it happened. Not just salaries, but benefits for life and full retirement.
