jim,

When I buy I want to hold for many years for tax reason mainly! Look on my profile and you will see most of my long term core holdings, which most have been held for 15 years or more! I've added to them thru the years also! Home Depot is my favorite stock and it represents about 10 1/2% of my holdings which is on the high side to be real prudent! This year I have sold off some of my KO position and have bought RIG and DO earilier in the year! Other than that I'm not real bullish in making any more long term investments until we see a real correction and then I will add to my present positions! As far as high tech companies go, I have never been able to keep up with whats going on! Seen too many companies that were doing very well then overnight just go bust due to a better mouse trap! Always been better picking the high techs for short plays! Hope this helps!

Good Luck to You,

Hank McNabb
