First sanctions, and then -- when, not if...

Do you really think the US & UK electorate have a vote that matters? The UK may no longer even have a vote post Oct. 2nd and Lisbon.
And people thought the Queen holds no power (wake up Canada)...

"The "instruments of (Lisbon Treaty) ratification" were signed by the Queen and Foreign Secretary David Miliband before being deposited in Rome.
UK Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague said the prime minister had "no democratic or moral authority to sign Britain up to the renamed EU constitution".
It was "a total breach of trust with the British people and a flagrant breach of his solemn election promise to the British people", Shadow Foreign Sec. William Hague added.

There's 15,000 paid lobbyists in D.C. spending $6.5 million per each member of Congress and the Senate who make $175k, with guarantees of NGO, lobbyist, Think Tank, and Foundation jobs that pay multiples of what they made in Congress, if they get voted out of office.
And you wonder why they don't even bother reading the bills any more?
If the dual passport holders in this administration were Chinese, we'd all be speaking Mandarin...

PS: Oil crisis/spike cures Abu Dhabi, Saudi, and Middle East financial hemorrhaging. And provides petrodollar windfall (of great benefit to Russia) which provides badly needed US Treasury funding.
Win-win for everyone... especially the military-industrial, oil complex.
