I don't the 70's case but I do know the Wickard wheat growing case which fined a guy for growing too much wheat on his private farm for his families use which violated illegal Federal law/regs for how much wheat farms were allowed to produce. The Supremes said the law was ok within the Commerce clause and the farmer had to pay a fine.
