The article references "fiscal third quarter." Does anyone know what time frame this is?

Cymer's story continues to unfold as it follows the evolution of size. Be patient - the fundamentals have not changed. Morse Law will rule and will drag the naysayers kicking and screaming into the next millenium.

Some have tried to argue that the Asian situation will retard growth. In my mind, the same argument should then be applied to computer chips - do you think for a moment that this will retard the movement to faster and more powerful chips? I don't think so.

Competition takes no prisoners. Those that are first to market will maintain and/or gain marketshare. The market for smaller die sizes presents significant opportunity for many - there will be winners and losers. IMO Cymer is well-positioned to win during this shakeout since it appears to be the ultimate supplier to whomever the winners are.

Unfortunately, there are not enough analysts/investors who fully understand this. This will change with time. This "bulb" company will eventually shine brightly and scorch a few doubters along the way.
