Called the ATT store and they rec'ed upgrading. Problem is I'm in the black hole between the end of the 12 month warranty and the early upgrade at 18 months. So I would have to pay $399 for a 16gig 3Gs instead of $199 on 12/12.

This is sort of irritating... grrr
