9/18/09 update
Excited, perhaps, by Michael Moore's new film: "Capitalism: A Love Story," the Bulls chalked up yet another weekly round. At Friday's close, the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 35.71% CYTD, or Contest Year To Date, (vs. up 32.41% CYTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 19.30% CYTD (vs. up 16.07% CYTD a week ago), while the Contest median closed up 29.50% CYTD (vs. up 26.09% CYTD a week ago).
RKRW's portfolio maintained its big lead, while GENE's portfolio raced past NIGEL's portfolio to take back second place.
The week's closing CYTD percentages are: RKRW up 138.57%, GENE up 93.67%, NIGEL up 86.97%.
At Friday's close, 28 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black and 21 of the 32 were beating the NBI.
Have a terrific weekend biotechies!
And, remember, you don't have to be Jewish to have a Happy Jewish New Year!
