Apparently you didn't read for comprehension this part of the post you are responding to.

And yes.....I've advocated spending cuts regardless of the jackass in charge for as long as I can remember....so don't give me any crap about what Bush did.....Cut it now and keep cutting it.....make congressional benefits dependent on sound fiscal management, take their failure to act out of their pockets.

If you think that the congressional spending madness just got started in 2001, then you must be about 13 years old. No offense to the bright 13 year olds out there......One of my favorite phrases over the last 30-35 years has been "IT'S THE SPENDING, STUPID!!!!"

You really don't get it, do you?
