Steve - If you are the professional IT director you claim, there are some inconsistencies that bother me.
If you are responsible for overseeing the rolling out and implementation all of these information systems, how is it that you can post messages every ten minutes, every day, to this site? When do you do the work?
In one post you claim to be a director and another you said that if I know anything about IT, I'd know your new manager. Gee, Directors don't report to managers, they report to VP's.
I work with Managers/Directors and to a smaller degree, VP's. These guys are professionals and they don't have time flame threads all day. Neither do I, I'm on vacation and you'll see my input dry up next week when I return to work. I'll still peruse in the evenings however.
I look at all the pro's I work with, being productive members of society and driving technological change, they don't have a minute to spare between 7am and 7pm M/F. Explain how all your time is seemingly free of responsibility?
Your posts claim you work for a company. I've seen no posts that suggests or even hints about you working as a sub-contractor or consultant.
In any event or capacity, you would not have time for an ask Steve thread, cmon, lets be realistic!
If you want credibility, give us a believeable answer as to how you spend yout time.
I believe your business is being a thread jockey and trading. You don't have time be doing anything productive for anybody.
