oh, and one more point. again i enjoyed the article and what is said is true. dogs are amazing creatures.

but in regard to dogs identifying cancer, as true as that may be, there will be no replacing CT, MRI and CT-PET scanning, and a biopsy in many cases.

i can assure you that no surgeon is going to operate without first obtaining some or all of the above mentioned imaging modalities. an MRI or CAT scan will most certainly be obtained prior to going to the OR suite.

maybe someday there will be a DOG scan to replace the CAT and PET scans, but not anytime soon. perhaps obamas health care plan has a place for the new DOG scan?
