First, we don't know if he said it. Secondly, so what if he did? Was Jimmy Carter lying when he told Prime Minister Golda Meir there was "a common historical pattern... that Israel was punished whenever the leaders turned way from devout worship of God."?

This attacking people for their religion is just one more tactic the ignorant Left uses pursuant to the Alinksy playbook.
