Seems pretty basic to me, people are selling dollars to buy assets, or they are selling assets to buy dollars. Every time I see the dollar index set up a reversal, I start taking some profits. My long term performance has already been made up from the March lows, so I'm just managing the stocks in auto pilot from here.

I still have alot of losses to burn up from the last bear market. The only reason I mention the performance is that there is an increidble opportunity for people to exhaust big tax loss carryforwards this year.

To me, it doesn't really matter if I use them up with short term gains. I just want to see those capital loss carryforwards go away as quickly as possible.
