Yes, the present models are almost certainly flawed. However, the flaws needed to believe that there was actually information retained from pre-singularity are not in evidence. It very well might be the case, in which case it wasn't a singularity, but there is no reason to believe that is the case with the available evidence. So, it requires a great deal of faith to believe that such evidence exists. And, even if it actually does exists, we don't know what that is.

In other words, any speculation is strictly faith-based. There is nothing to speculate on. Or with. Or about. It is all just fantasy at this point.
