Paul,

I also knew it would drop, but it still might recover. It is showing excellent strength at the 19+ level and Ws don't get below 7 very long. The HK market, IMAO, has pretty well bottomed out for as strong as their economy is running. Property was overvalued and this could give the banks some problems. Very similar to the problems we had here in the late 70's. They will likely see higher interest rates, but this is beneficial to Deswell. Even a recession in the area wouldn't hurt them as they do very little related to HK economy.

The problem is watching paper value fluctuate. I have now gotten used to it and am just sitting in a hold position. The company hasn't changed and their financial position would let them ride out even a severe recession. If I figure out the monies I actually have in it and convert the warrants, about $19.25 or PE below 10 on a company growing earnings at 37.5%. Anytime!!

I got to reviewing again (doing that a lot lately) and am still very optimistic. Other than the expansion and added equipment, I'm looking at the 144 filings. US investors are leery of investment in HK and China related companies. They realize this and will do nothing to make the investors nervous. The end of June and first of July, they filed 144s and sold the stock before the earnings were announced - a great report. They again filed 144s a couple of weeks ago and I believe they've sold. And I also believe this to be an indicator of another great earnings report.

I had doubt and questions about NTAIF actions. I now believe they are truly concerned about stockholder value. I'm coming to trust them more than most US companies. What percentage of US companies are paying dividends?

Gut feeling - DSWLF becomes part of NTAIF within 3 months, cash and stock. Would be an excellent merger in my mind.

Just my meandering thoughts - sorry about the long post.
Ron
