You don't appreciate or care to appreciate the "science" of politics... If Obama had publicly agreed with Carter(something the RW was drooling for), be honest and tell me what the reaction would have been. Obama would have preferred to not have had to comment at all but was forced into having to make a statement... Carter was being very honest, as he always has been and I totally agree with him. He has nothing to gain or lose by being other than honest. He gets a lot of flak for his position on the Israeli settlements but I think he's right even though my sentiments always rest with Israel.... The world respects him as evidenced by his Nobel...
