Executive TeleCard Launches MasterPhone(TM) to Over One Million MasterCard Cardholders Through Credicard S.A. of Brazil
DENVER, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Executive TeleCard (Nasdaq:EXTL) announced today that Credicard S.A. of Brazil has introduced over one million of its bank cards into Executive TeleCard's World Direct(TM) global telephony network through MasterCard's MasterPhone Telephone Service.

Under the program, Credicard's MasterPhone cards will now be enhanced with global calling card capabilities. Executive TeleCard will provide telephony value-added services for international calling card applications.

Credicard S.A. is the number one credit card issuer in Latin America with 9.9 billion dollars in transaction volume and with over six million MasterCard cardholders, according to the Nilson Report of September 1997 for 1996 card volume.
