Commissioners agreed to replace its remote control system for a bomb robot with a wireless remote for $57,975. The assembly will be done by Remotetec Inc. The commission also agreed to replace its imaging X-ray system from Polaroid film to digital film. The new system will be purchased from Logos Imaging LLC for $22,810. In a separate action, the commission agree to buy a third bomb suit from Allen-Vanguard Technologies for $22,457.
