Lane, good thing you were in MIS <ggg>. The SEC under Cox was apparently not much more than a 'shell' agency. That guy who sniffed out Madoff's scam years ago (Harry Markopolos) tried to get the SEC to do something by presenting pretty clear cut evidence, and they just ignored it. His testimony before Congress about the agency was as damning as it gets IMO... It temains to be seen if the 'new' SEC under Shapiro develops any teeth.... Regards, John
