>>You think it's a good thing that students graduate as liberals because you equate liberalism with knowledge, intellect, and open-mindedness. The truth is that these students are being indoctrinated. Conservative thought is often treated with ridicule and scorn because it is portrayed as the very antithesis of intellectualism. I see you doing that right now.<<

That is just plain nonsense. Public school teachers are picked randomly and are a cross section of our general population, right left and center. I ahve taugth in too many schools and attended too may to not know that is true.

What you are complaining about is that they primarily teach science. And science is neithere conservative or liberal it is just a method for determning the truth of things.

Do you expect any biology techer to teach anything but other than evolution as fact and show how it works? . It is a fact. Just as cosmologists are going to teach the fact the universe is 13 billion years old and the earth is about 5 billion years old. Those are all facts.

Should a biology teacher teach that evolution is a theory? None of them do because it isn't. And no cosmologist is going to teach that the earth is 6,000 years old. It isn't.

All universiteis teach is science facts and logic and that often does not square with conservative ideology.

So what is upsetting you are facts. You want us to believe things that are not true.

There is not indoctrination. Bad teadhers, good teachers and crazy teachers is what I saw and they teach all sorts fo things, but most stuff is just basic knowledge.

Math, chemistry, history, and on and on.
