NG won't stay at these levels for long. It needs to be priced around $6 or $7, and GS is calling for $12. NG at $3 or $4 doesn't do anyone any good, since the low costs will never be passed along to the consumer. That being said, I'm quite happy to get my 2010 rates to 63 cents per therm.

Utilities have been ravaged by the foreclosure process and reduction in industrial production. It seems like a good place to find opportunities going forward, with nat gas finally finding some support. With the dramatic increase in home sales this year, I would think the demand for nat gas and electricity is underestimated for 2010 and 2011.
