most illegals work very hard, some at multiple jobs, have families and want to take care of them Missing the point. Do you actually KNOW any? Yes - they work on a friends tree farm and do gardening for my mother at times and she sells them airline tickets to fly home every year to work on the house he and his brother are building in mexico - they don't plan to stay here, just earning money to make a better life at home. I have no issue with them being here legally on work visas and perhaps we need millions more visas - but when they get here without us knowing who they are that's a serious national security issue. The trouble with the health care plan is they don't currently pay - they are part of the uninsured - if they had a visa nd could buy into the plan that would be fine. But if they show up in the emergency room without insurance they get deported and banned from re-entry - fair enough?
