The vast majority has phony documentation... the first thing you need is a SS card. The employer DEDUCTS taxes, SS and Medicare... which they never get back. Jesus Hugh how can you be so ill informed and try to make a cogent argument. What does it feel like to look the fool all the time? You are so stupid, I have to manage contractors who sometimes mistakenly hire illegals, you know nothing and think you know everything. The ultimate in stupidity. Actually that's a minority. Most who try to use fake SS numbers get caught, but not deported. Sometimes they get lucky and find a company who doesn't care, or the SS number just happens to be someone who is hispanic, same sex, and about the same age. If the company knows it is hiring illegals they usuually pay cash, with no chance of paperwork getting them in trouble. Most work for cash for construction or farm work. But even if they have a job at a company who doesn't care and using bad SS numbers and file for income tal most make so little money they don't pay income tax, they get a welfare check called a refund.
