Those that are on the inside on the upgrades and downgrades make all the money in this market. Notice how the upgrades come out in threes, example EDS today. Their earnings did not meet expectations, and although close, without the upgrades the stock would probably just have drifted, maybe even lower. What to do when your stock is drifting, an upgrade is a good idea for sure, especially when the overall market is sinking slightly. Ah, to have access to upgrades and downgrades. When I had a full service broker he never gave access to their trading desk info. Maybe I'm confused here, but full service should include these pieces of info, or are these secret even within a brokerage?
