i actually have some *good* news to report....
in the middle of a major remodel and i'm dealing with union type carpenters, plumbers, etc...
i've had TWO (out of two<g>) tell me that they are 'democrats and voted for obama'
and now they are saying 'quote' "what the hell was i thinking"
iow, my very small "poll" of white, middle class union workers is that they screwed up royally voting obama in...
what i heard was the union guys were getting NO JOBS and are are reduced to taking non-union sideline jobs to 'stay alive'
no offense, but, they may be dumb, but they are NOT stupid...
they know that the .gov jobs are not enough to keep them fully employed and that if the D controlled house/senate/WH "plan" is to tax producers into oblivion, their jobs are TOAST
to hear a union carpenter say 'what was I thinking'
is music to my ears...
we have very small chance of taking back the country in 2010
once obama loses the union workers...he is TOAST

btw, these are really nice guys, and i totally understand their plight, i'm doing my part to keep them employed, despite .gov efforts to do otherwise, and i think they appreciate that productive business is their salvation.........
