I said "What is the matter with you???" referring to the following. Here is the quote:

Your little deflection admits you cannot deal with it in a rational way.

Firstly, we are talking about a worthless immoral beggar. He was laid at his gate. This would not have been anywhere near his door. It is reasonable to suppose that the decent man who worked for a living never even saw him. Nothing in the succeeding passages indicates that the rich man is being punished for anything he did or didn't do. It is simply stated that..."Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented." In other words, it is more like Hinduism than anything else: Karma is "evening things out". Even though this is not strictly Karma. It is actually just a weird concept that is reflected in some Christian sects: Don't have fun and don't have.
