"I believe that people who are criminals (in my eyes) should receive justice."

So you are the only and final arbiter of all that is just and good in your little private universe? Like those guys that think they don't have to pay taxes down in the States; I suppose you can choose to believe that sort of thing even as you are led away by the Sheriff.

Aside from the fact that IT TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH! It doesn't matter what you personally consider to be a crime. All Laws both Human and Divine contain statutes and ordinances that when contravened (and that is proved to be the case) by someone who is under that Law; a legal judgement then renders that person a Law Breaker and a Criminal. You don't have to like it: in fact nobody cares what your personal likes and dislikes are. The Passage in Luke is about a Jewish man who was under the Law of Moses and who was being judged fairly and justly according to that Law. You want to jump to his defense but he doesn't even bother to protest his own innocence. He tacitly stipulates his own guilt.
