We have 2 ground wars going and our senior leadership is water based. I appreciate the explanation. I don't understand how such a thing can happen unless our military is broken at the highest levels. Obviously, they don't know how to put the right pieces in place. Perhaps they should consult with the Forest Service Fire Incident Command people for advice. Is Gates responsible for this or what? I don't get it. And I'm really pissed right now because my daughter got a letter from one of the soldiers she's been sending care packages to and he said they could really use coffee. For the love of Pete (I mentally washed my mouth out with soap here, you understand), can't the goddam military provide coffee for the troops, baby wipes, scope sights for their weapons, crap like that? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? We gave terrorists a laptop, a prayer rug, three squares, air conditioning and a free plane ride to the South Pacific paradise of Palau and we can't even buy any goddam coffee for the troops?????? This is starting to seriously annoy me. better
