I'll HAPPILY pay for a reasonably priced policy that doesn't price itself out of consideration because of my pre-existing conditions. And be damn glad to have that FINALLY have that option! I pay out of pocket for myself now. About $500 a month for meds, $400 twice a year for tests, $150 four times a year for doctor visits. $7500 for cataract surgery, etc.
