but there is the implicit "hold on tight and all shall be ok" - as in be prepared to fund mortgage repayment from other pools of cash, hold, and price will be up up and more up.

- upstairs owner is debt free
- usd 3 mil property attracts a tax bill of about usd 2k this year, whether rented or not

what you noted about china real estate sounds about right at retail level

issue is loan to developers at times, but still, generally ok i believe, as chinese bankers may be at times criminally greedy, but less insanely stupid
