I don't believe it is so much bad news, as no news.
On the other hand, if you go back over the vast majority of posts in the last two months, the repeated theme is lack of information on which to base decisions.
Well folks, there is no more reason to cry and speculate.
We now have more information than I have ever had the pleasure of seeing from any miner, and I for one appreciate it. I hate the short curt news releases with no background and no explaination. You are always left at the complete mercy of management which usually does not have shareholders interests in mind.
I would much rather get this, than be waiting for three weeks for a material news announcement, that either says Yahoo, or pulls the rug out from under my feet.
So now we have information that will allow the nervous to leave quietly while allowing the faithful, geologically inclined, gamblers and insiders to follow the play.
Sure I would like to have been told they hit 150m of 11% nickel but they can't manufacture those intersections.
They are looking, they have told us where they are looking and why they are looking there. What more can you ask for?
Teck's VP said it in Toronto, this is the best play he has seen in 20 years but it may take weeks to years to truly establish its potential.
So we are being kept apprised of progress. I for one appreciate that much more than living day after day in a vacume.
Come on people, you are being treated like adults and appreciated sharholders.
