RW, by the time I retire, either I see a 30% cut in my SS benefits or the SS payroll tax will rise 43% (5.375 percentage points).

Of course, that is forecasted to happen in 2041, which is why no politician really wants to worry about it. Why not mortgage our children's future to pay for today's votes?
