It's attitudes like his that contributed to McCain's loss and the overall inability of the Republican party to get across its message. You don't bring a knife to a gun fight. The Dems have taken political debate to the gutter. While I do not advocate joining them there, the opposition has to be pushy, strong and unwilling to allow them to frighten us off by their usual BS accusations. For the most part, those advocating the Left's talking points can't get beyond the talking points in a discussion.That's generally when it devolves into name-calling. It's funny that they're not as well trained as telephone salespeople who have a come-back for every way in which the target can say "no." <g>
