Karun:
It is good to know where you were directing your comments. I, for one, do not approve of anyone calling a member of SI a "bozo". I have come perilously close, myself. :-( I will say that, from experience, I can understand Ben's frustration with Ike's messages to him.
The very theme suggests that one cannot be bull for ever in this market and one need to be nimble enough to change the stance to adjust to the market direction. That's how we can make profit and that is what Ike has been saying. That's how support and resistence levels keep changing.
Indeed, and Iqbal has demonstrated remarkable agility. However, he has also demonstrated some intolerance of those whose nimbleness took them in directions away from his viewpoints. On this matter, I speak from experience.
Since braggadoccio by some is tolerated on this thread, allow me an indulgence of the same (distasteful as I find it). I was clear in my view of what the Asian situation portended for the world markets (which, as Ike is fond to point out, are inextricably linked). I was either ignored or verbally assaulted for my posts about these risks. Perhaps it didn't qualify as an "Idea of the Day," but, then, neither did bottom fishing in Ascend and Applied Materials, did it?
Beyond keeping a few pet bears to dance on the hot metal floor of the I/D circus, dissenting voices are not tolerated on this thread. That is why I have been comfortable in my silence, to which I shall now return.
