The fact is there are more than 47 million people uninsured at any one time (people switching or losing jobs etc). Yes, there are people who are tempted to save some dollars by gambling with their lives at stake. All other wealthy nations in the world have solved this problem. We are the richest nation on earth and we spend twice as much money as any other nation on health care yet we have all these people just one tragic event away from having their lives ruined and or having to rely on welfare of some sort to get by for the rest of their lives.
