Heh, no I don't support agricultural supports for anything. Ending price supports wouldn't lead to us importing all our food from Asia. For one thing, many agricultural commodities aren't even affected by price supports. We're a big surplus food producer. The few things we import are things not covered by price supports.

Tell me why you aren't in favor of nationalizing the food industry?

After all we do have an FDA, Dept of Agriculture, etc etc etc. Why not just have the government take it all over. Why should something so necessary be produced by profit seekers who try their hardest to give people as little food as possible and charge as much as possible? How about the profits of farmers, food companies, restaurants, and high salaries of the executives of these companies? Their price gouging. Their willingness to sell you more food than you really need? All the bogus health care arguments you guys trot out can be applied here. Why I'll bet the food is better, more nutritious and tastier, in Europe and Canada too.
