What I get from biographies is they all went through the same suffering and doubt that I've gone through--or some of it, at least.

Take Lennon and McCartney and all the variables that finally came together for their success. There were a thousand (a billion) paths that could have pulled therm to a billion different fates.

This is life. Our input is important and perhaps paramount. But it occurs in the midst of 17 thousand billion whirlings and swirlings and mice.
