mph, I'm not an expert on how the "stimulus" is being distributed.

Right now I'm kinda happy that MOST of it still seems to be coming on line. I think were gonna need a lot of help going into 2010.

I'm not really sure if he gave too much to the "unions". If GM workers continue to make WAY more than Toyota workers in the U.S. then I guess he did.

You HAVE to remember that the Country was in a "Pretty Bad Way" when all this stuff came about.

POLITICALLY, Obama would have been better off by just ending TARP and not giving anything to the Auto Companies. The country would have gone into a HORRENDOUS DEPRESSION but he could have blamed it all on Bush.

THEN, in 2011 he could have pumped up government spending and put things on an uptick and looked good. That's what Reagan did.
