I think that nations underestimate the power of their bombastic verbalizations. If the Iranians keep poking their developing nuclear fingers into the eyes of the West, they are going to be in big trouble. Saddam underestimated how seriously people took his WMD lies, even when he tried to backpedal and let in the UN inspectors. He gave Bush an excuse to pursue his own political agenda. Obama does not have a similar agenda but Ahmidinejad is a fool if he thinks he can flaunt his nuclear progress without real consequences. The Israelis already held a publicized rehearsal of ther military plan. The Iranians are not Arabs but, like the Arabs, they seem to have trouble in realizing political realities. The consequences of a nuclear Iran with a nut like A at the helm are too serious to ignore, a shame for the suffering Iranian people who may suffer further for it.
