| | | Yes, the new battery is AWESOME. Best ever, in every which way, except the tiny, itsy bitsy minor detail of not being user replaceable. That, of course has NOTHING to do with the AWESOME new battery. It has EVERYTHING to do with the locked-tight, only a qualified, Apple technician can touch this precious toy mentality, built into the new, improved Mac designs. Pardon me, if this seems less than optimal, or Mac-like, to me. Once upon a time the Mac offered me freedom like no other computer. I fear that time was in the past. More and more, given OS X rules, a user friendly hackintosh seems to be the logical upgrade solution, for me. And yes, I will pay for the OS X. Hate it when people steal my stuff; make it a point never to steal anyone else's. |
